The Ultra-Light Storm Jacket by RIVERS WEST is designed to provide maximum waterproof protection in warmer climates [60 O 74O F]. Made from high-quality yet extremely lightweight 0 denier / 370 thread count soft Pongee fabric, it hardly feels like youre wearing anything at all. Yet the extreme waterproof protection of this fully seam-sealed jacket cant be beat. Most products in this price range utilize a polyurethane-based waterproof spray coating which is generally less breathable than high-quality membrane lamination. This is the most cost-effective way to produce a waterproof rain shell. But RIVERS WEST utilizes their proprietary waterproof/breathable membrane which is permanently laminated to the outer fabric creating a thinner fabrication with better performance and a longer lifespan. The jacket is extremely packable and can be rolled up and packed into its own hood then cinch the drawstrings for a tight closure. Features include a two-way adjustable fixed hood, 2 welted hand pockets, and a double storm placket to keep water out. Each side of the jacket has two snaps to help enclose the wearer for a tighter fit. Available in officially licensed Mossy Oak Elements Agua patterns, the Ultra-Light Storm Jacket looks great on the water, at the campsite, or just around town.
